FFM1 Disenchanted“…So after I climbed down that mountain, I realized just how far my courage,” the self proclaimed knight errant paused to cast what I could only assume was meant to be a charming smile, “and stamina could take me. Though I love my Papa dearly, there are times in which I find him to be utterly blind, and I do believe this to be one of them. For though he may have only the firmest belief in Aunt Phillipa and Aunt Emily’s intentions for my birthday, I fear I find them much suspect.   
It was no surprise to me that there was to be an occasion made of my birthday; after all, I’ve been in Cairo for most of my scant eighteen years, and there have been few other occasions for such an event in my honor. Shinin' it UpIt ain’t easy turnin’ a bitty 5 x 7 foot berth into a home. No it surely ain’t. ‘Specially not when a certain Cap’n was all sorts of opposed to the thought of color and the like. Still, I like to think I’ve done it. Serenity helped, her bein’ all shiny on her own. My girl sure was pretty when I met her, but she weren’t too colorful to begin with.
