So, I'd been wanting to attempt some steampunkish jewelry and while I haven't been able to get any fun gears yet, I did manage to find some awesome clock hands.
Here's the first of my experiments-made of a very delicate chain, filigree clockhand, and small garnet chips.
I really love this piece. Clock hands are sexy as bloody heck. The double strands was quite the neat idea too and it really looks pretty when worn. I would love to get some clock hands, as of now I only have micro ones from pocket-watches. Where did you obtain this little bugger?

I know right? I never would have figured it.. I totally lucked out! And actually- Michaels craft store strangly enough.. they have a little clock making isle (only battery operated though, which is why I still have no gear..le sigh) and had a variety of stuff.. I'd been hitting antique stores, but really hadn't found anything around here..
I'm gonna start calling like clock repair shops once I've got money again though

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
